Now in post production, “Jackass 3-D ” director Jeff Tremaine chatted with Collider about the pic.

He says 80% of the film was shot in 3D using the Red Digital camera, while the remaining segments will be in glorious 2D still others will undergo a 3-D conversion. Filming on the flick kicked off in February, though there’s just a few more days of shooting left to go in the near future.

In total they’ve shot about double the amount of segments we’ll see on screen in the final 90-minute film, in fact there’s at least an hour of additional material that will probably be incorporated down the road at some point

The original team of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Bam Margera and Preston Lacy are back

There are also celebrity cameos as well, but they’re not going to reveal who they are until the movie pops.on 10/15/10
